There's an age that comes when you realize you deserve better things in life. I went through that phase for my clothes, and am now going through that phase for my jewellery. I used to buy a lot of cheap costume jewellery when I was in my teenage years from pushcarts and high streets stores like Forever 21. Rings that were chunky, yet light (because there was no real metals) and I would stack 5 rings on each hand when I go out. Those rings also tarnished extremely fast - a silver ring would oxidize into black or bronze within 1 month, for example.

As we move into our careers, I'm sure we would be more certain of our likes and dislikes and know better to want to treat ourselves to proper jewellery pieces. Pieces that can withstand the test of time and pieces which we can purchase to mark special occasions in life.
