Sponsored Video - #ChangeYourDestiny with SK-II
What if you could speak to your future self?
I wish that could really happen in real life. This way, I would be able to avoid some of the silly mistakes and decisions which I regretted making. Or at least, my future self would be able to point me towards the right guy, much like the video. And I would definitely appreciate someone nagging at me to stop snacking Nutella out from the jar at 2am, not to drink too much vodka, and to sleep earlier and exercise more!
This was the interpretation which independent directors came up with for SK-II's new campaign, #ChangeDestiny. SK-II believes that every woman has the ability to choose her destiny in life, much more importantly, the choice in the destiny of her skin.
To show the impact that our choices have on ourselves, SK-II embarked on a study of 140 women, looking at the skin of loyal users of SK-II Facial Treatment Essence - women who have been using the product over a course of 10, 20 and even 30 years, reflected in the video below. Watch the video featuring power blogger Juri Cho below! Juri is a key example of #ChangeDestiny, being a music major graduate turned bag designer.
Maintenance is key to beautiful skin - I have several beauty blogger friends telling me that I should learn to treat my skin better to avoid regretting later. Just like our metabolic age, our actual age and our skin age can also vary. The condition of our skin can be found by assessing the 5 dimensions of clear skin: Texture, Radiance, Firmness, Spot Control and Wrinkle Resilience. You can get your skin age tested at all SK-II counters - don't wait till it's too late to savage the condition of your skin!
Out of curiosity, I went to the SK-II site to have a read about their study here and the photos show that those who started consistently using SK-II in their late 20s - early 30s really maintained the condition of their skin much better till their late 40s and 50s, compared to those who didn't really care about skincare. Go and have a read and check out their Facebook page as well - seeing is believing!
Believe that the destiny of your skin is in your own hands? #ChangeDestiny to join in the debate :)
