I have been wanting to feature Kiko Mizuhara on my blog for ages because this girl is just a magnetic force that draws you in. Her eyes are so beautiful and alluring and her full lips captures both sexiness and a bit of girlish naivety. She is one of those that can carry off so many different looks - no makeup, screen siren smokey eyes, girly... and still look so effortlessly chic and beautiful. I guess a lot of this is attributed to genes, but she is equally passionate about fashion, having been modeling for a while now.
Born to an American father and Korean mother (with Japanese background) in Texas, Kiko moved to Japan when she was a toddler. She first broke into the world of modeling after winning a competition held on Seventeen Japan and has since been regularly in editorials of Vivi, Elle Japan, Seventeen Japan and so on.
I have never met Kiko in real life but I imagine her to be someone who prefers fuss-free dressing without many embellishments or too many accessories. She would not be one to wear very loud colors or crazy designs - her style is effortless and subtle, but yet chic at the same time. For her streetstyle photos, she is usually seen wearing boots or sneakers and simple dresses and coordinates. I personally like the photo of her wearing a tweed suit jacket and matching shorts, but with sneakers and a Marilyn Monroe graphic tshirt.
