These days in Singapore is getting hotter and hotter, some people have been saying that the temperature would continue to rise until Singaporeans repent their "mistakes" in the recent general election. In my own response to the heat, I have decided to turn to looking at these cool lollies, also know as popsicles. Coincidentally, the colours for this SS season also happened to be popsicle colours of neon orange, hot pink, fuchsia, lime green and royal purple, thanks to the colours shown during Prada and Gucci, which have been the 2 main influencers that started the trend for stripes in bright colours.
It is always fun to be able to draw parallels between fashion and other subjects such as food, architecture and nature, instead of always isolating fashion in its own elite circle. Frankly, most things in fashion are influenced by these subjects, and vice versa.
