Little Red Riding Hood

For May Day, I went to Botanic Gardens with my girl, Kristie for a fun day outdoors. The talented Ms Kristie shot me almost impromptu for a "little red riding hood" theme - nothing was planned beforehand.
It's been so long since I've been to Botanic Gardens - I used to go there for field trips and school activities all the time, but now since school has semi-permanently halted, "going out" has now became "going indoors to shopping malls". And after awhile, that gets boring even for someone that loves to shop.

But to be honest, most of the time I don't shop at Zara, Topshop, River Island, Forever 21 or any other highstreet megachainstores in the stores itself because the clothes are 1) Ripoffs from Gucci/Prada/Chanel runways 2) Overpriced, 3) lacks individuality. Around 80% of my clothes are bought online secondhand or at flea markets where you can buy some insanely awesome vintage apparel for as little as $10 for a dress or pants etc.

Wearing Little Red Dress from Oakham Market, rings from all over the place, F21 gold leaf bangle, bag from Beijing, tights online, shoes from Rubi.

It's an animal!

I finally got around to climbing that big tree with a low but extremely thick and sturdy branch at Botanic Gardens. It was really fun climbing with a dress on, trying not to flash everyone in the vicinity! My foxtail chain looks like some furry animal reclining in the nooks of the big tree.

Nylon much?
Kristie said this looks like a Nylon print!
