I'll follow you into the dark

Yesterday I fulfilled another long-time wish of mine: to visit Marina Bay Sands Skypark. And boy, it was worth the $20 ticket for a fantastic view of the Singapore skyline. Seriously, I've never seen Singapore looking so good before...it made me feel quite proud for once to be living in such a small but accomplished city.
I'll let the photos speak for themselves.

My journey began with the tiniest cup of macchiato
I've ever drank from A Curious Teepee. Probably less than 30ml, at $4.80.

Walking down the DNA bridge

Taking the elevator up to the 56th Level. The elevator only had 3 stops - B1, 1 and 56.

It was interesting to see the skyline change as the sun disappeared...a very breathtaking sight. It almost made me feel as though I was in a major city like New York or Tokyo, with the bustling lights and lively night scene.

Me and Addie stood up there and listened to music and just chilled. It was nice not to think of anything for a change, and just empty my mind of all thoughts. And that's when I started feeling a subtle hint of happiness, which filled me up. I wore my asymmetrical Topshop dress - this was the dress which I bought for prom. Girls - remember next time for prom, buy something which you can both dress up and down so that you'd be able to rewear the dress and max out its price. My dress looked great paired with the New Look wedges (which killed my feet), and with a wool knit topshop cardigan and my favourite thrifted bag (:

  1. Love that dress paired with those shoes. And how clever that you wore it to prom! How was it styled?

    Hi thanks for reading!

I just wore it with a black satin clutch, and a pair of nude satin heels. Then my hair was style up in curls and I had an updo and a nude satin flower in my hair (:

Hi dear! Great to see you here! You wouldn't be jealous if you really lived here cos Singapore's weather usually will make you sweat like crazy. It's hot and humid.

And it will rain suddenly and be sunny the next moment. I really hate the weather here actually ):

  7. Amaaaazing amazing photos! The sky is haunting. And it doesn't hurt that your outfit is pure perfection. The whimsical dress paired with those killer black wedges (totally worth the pain) completes the package.

I'm not sure whether it's still retailing at Topshop - I think not cos Topshop gets new stock twice a week. And even if it's still retailing, there'll only be the super big sizes left. I bought mine for $149.
