Wearing Faux leather nude crop top from Lauren Jasmine, Emerald pencil skirt with white piping from Club Monaco
With my dearest Michelle
I'm usually not somehow huge on sportswear such as polo tees and jersey dresses, but Lacoste's latest SS14 collection did pique my interest. Womenswear features bright summer colors in lightweight fabrics of jersey, cotton and herringbone knit, with heavy inspirations from tennis. I am especially draw to the white drop waist dress with its short pleat skirt, which looks tennis-ready, but would probably look even better styled with chunky wedges and a bomber jacket.
Similarly, prints are inspired by tennis court nets and rackets, with exclusive archive prints designed by Robert George, who designed Lacoste's iconic crocodile logo. With clean lines, Lacoste has managed to blend urban, minimal and sportswear into a solid casual collection for everyday - hence, Life is a Beautiful Sport. It's a competition, but for me, it's always been a competition with myself.
I strive to live doing things purposefully and with passion - doing things I truly care about and doing them good.
