I have missed your comments terribly since I left for Beijing on 16 Jan. Believe me, I have thought of you guys and my blog and took many beautiful photos of Beijing already. So far, I've been to a wide array of shopping districts, from wholesale markets, indie shops selling really cool stuff, to upscale luxury shopping districts with labels such as Marc by Marc Jacobs, Lavin, Balenciaga etc. And I have also been to 798 - it is an art district for contemporary artists. The place used to be a series of factories, but they have now been converted into art galleries and indie cafés. I have a lot of great photos from there, including a sculpture that is around 5 storeys tall and looks like one of those robots from the movie Transformers.
Unfortunately, I will not be blogging from Beijing even though I've managed to conquer the Great Chinese Firewall and get onto all the websites that the Chinese government has blocked (including blogger). The computer at my grandparents' home is simply too slow and cannot handle all the photos that I normally upload into each of my blog posts.
Till then, please wait patiently till I get back to Singapore on 15 Feb.
P.S: The winner for the Burlesque movie giveaway is SANDY! Congratulations! Those who didn't win, thank you for your participation and look out for the next round! (: Sandy - my best friend will be mailing out your prize for you within the next 3 days.
